Week 3

and I've lost another 2 1/2 pounds... that brings me to a total of 10 1/2 pounds! The Weight Watchers thing is going great, and I am still working out. I don't know if I am going to make it through the 30 Day Challenge in 30 days or not. I am still a day behind, and I don't know if I am going to have time to work out today. Andrew did not nap this morning, and I've got school this afternoon.

Another feat that I had: A couple of days ago I was at home and in some lounge shorts. Well, as I was walking along and carrying Andrew, they completely fell off. They were already a bit big, but they still fell off!

Alright, off to get the kids and myself lunch.

2nd Week

I weighed in this morning, and I am down another 2 1/2 pounds. Not nearly as much as last week, but that's still okay. I knew that I would start to level out at some point.

The working out is going pretty well. I did skip yesterday, but I can just workout the next 4 days, and then I will be back on track. I really want to finish the 30 Day Challenge within the 30 days.

So, I am now at 250 pounds. I've lost a total of 8 pounds. I have 51 more to lose to get under 200 pounds. It seems like it is impossible, but I will keep on trucking.

Josh told me that I am going to get a big surprise when I make it to my goal. I have no clue what he has in store for me, but it is a definite motivator. Josh has always had wonderful surprises for me!

1 week in...

... and I've lost 5 1/2 pounds! I've stayed on program. I used some of my flex points this weekend. We went to Whataburger for lunch before skating lessons. I had a grilled chicken sandwich and onion rings. Apparently they are about half the points than french fries. Then, for Andrew's birthday party, we had BBQ. I ate some brisket and a rib. I also had a cupcake. Then, yesterday, I went and had sushi with the girls and we went to a habichi grill last night for Monica's birthday.

All in all, it was a WONDERFUL weekend.

I am determined to do this. It is not an option any more. I will be healthy for my kids and husband, but most of all, for myself. I will like myself. Let me rephrase: I will like my physical self. I unerstand I will never be a supermodel. I will never wear a size 2. BUT, I can get healthy. I can get some weight off so I can shop in a normal store.

Success!

I have been doing the Weight Watcher's thing. It's going well. I think more than anything, it makes you keep track of what you put in your mouth. I've also started over with the Wii Active. So far, I've completed 5 days of each.

I have discovered a few things about myself already. First, before I started this, I never let myself get hungry. I mean, I snacked so much that I was never hungry. Second, I have realized that I shouldn't watch Food Network as much. I think it makes me want to eat. It makes me think that I need to eat.

So, on the the good stuff... I weighed myself this morning and I have lost 5 pounds. I don't think that it will be 5 pounds on Monday since I have been saving all of my weekly point for the weekend. I've got lots to do this weekend. Saturday, we've got Whataburger and skating lessons. Then, that evening, we've got Andrew's birthday party. We are having BBQ. Then on Sunday, I think I am having lunch with Erin and then we've got out usual Sunday dinner. That's a lot of eating out.

Hopefully I will make it through the weekend and still have lost something my Monday.

Day One (Again)

So, I obviously failed miserably the first time around. Well, I am starting over again. This time, I have joined Weight Watchers and I am going back through the Wii Active 30 day challenge. We shall see...
